Ms. Bettina Tucci Bartsiotas was Assistant Secretary General and Controller of the United Nations.  She is active in international organizations, academia and non-profit organizations. She is a consultant, mentor, guest speaker, and member of boards and commissions in multiple entities, focusing in the area of governance, management and finance.  Ms. Bartsiotas was Director of the UN Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), Head of Budget of UNICEF, and Director of Finance of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Ms Bartsiotas is a member of the Finance Commission of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) and a member of the Council of the University for Peace in Costa Rica.  She holds a degree in Economics from American University and an MBA from George Washington University in Washington DC. She is fluent in Spanish, English and German.
