Recommended action points required to mitigate the consequences of the COVID -19 pandemic on women’s economic empowerment by #GWLvoices
No single party is fully responsible for Yemen’s humanitarian crisis and no single party can end it. But EVERY single party has a moral duty to engage in finding a solution. All those involved must now recognize the urgency of the situation and take the actions available to each of them to end it.
The pandemic response is already having a gender-differentiated impact as has happened with previous crisis that document how women are hit harder during difficult times.
