Commending WFP’s Achievements and Looking into the Future
Description: In December 2020
In December 2020, The World Food Programme received the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of their efforts to combat global hunger and improve the living conditions for civilians in conflict-torn states. WFP’s achievement deserves the highest praise, though institutional efforts to address hunger must continue on to uphold the 2030 Agenda. Especially during an unprecedented period, it’s vital to continue multilateral efforts to address global food insecurity and the need to provide humanitarian aid for civilians in need of supply.
