Urging a Response to the World’s Worst Humanitarian Crises

The situation in Yemen has been reported as one of the worst humanitarian crises in recent history. A six-year blockade and internal fighting have contributed to and exacerbated the lives of the nearly 80 percent of the population, who are in need of humanitarian assistance due to malnutrition, life-threatening maladies, and displacement. Global leaders must orchestrate a response to the crisis and fuel efforts to administer humanitarian aid for the civilian population.
